I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs throughout this terrible injury and I don’t think I would have been able to keep a positive spirit without the help of TJ , she’s absolutely amazing at her job and I connect very well and feel amazing after each session . My counselor is excellent for me: she understands what having a long term condition, in my case post concussion and remnants of other physical injuries is like and supports me to think through doable next steps, helps me deal with emotions that are overwhelming...

I have had regular sessions with Lindsay Brown since the beginning of this year and the sessions have not only been extremely helpful but they have been a unique balance of compassion and firm "pushback". While this may seem to represent a dichotomy, it is exactly what I needed. As I discovered, I have all the "details" and can describe occurrences with great detail - but I (personally) needed to be pushed out of my head and into my heart. Lindsay did that (and I hope will continue to do that) for me. I am grateful and would recommend her without hesitation - I actually have already.
